CERT Solutions are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Supply SEN Teacher to work across a range of specialist settings in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is experienced in supporting pupils with a wide variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who is looking for flexible, rewarding work.

You will be working in settings such as special schools, alternative provisions, and SEN bases within mainstream schools, supporting pupils with needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), ADHD, and complex learning or physical disabilities.

The Role

  • Deliver tailored and engaging learning experiences to meet EHCP targets
  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit a wide range of learning needs
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
  • Support pupils’ personal development, independence, and emotional wellbeing
