Description
Are you a confident HLTA with experience delivering lessons independently? We are currently recruiting for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in the Sutton Coldfield area.
This role would suit an experienced HLTA, experienced TA or teacher who is confident standing in front of a class, delivering lessons and supporting pupils to make progress.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering planned lessons and learning activities
- Leading classes and small groups
- Supporting pupils with additional needs
- Managing behaviour effectively
- Working alongside teachers and support staff
- Helping create a positive and engaging learning environment
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience delivering lessons
- Is confident managing a classroom
- Has HLTA, TA or teaching experience
- Ideally has experience within an SEN/specialist setting
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to supporting pupils
This is a full-time position, offering £110 – £120 per day depending on experience.
