We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Saltley for an experienced School Administrator to join their team on a long-term basis for the full academic year, starting on 3rd September.
This role is Monday to Friday, 11:40am to 4:00pm, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced school administrator looking for consistent part-time hours throughout the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised administrator who has previous experience working in a school office and is confident using the SIMS management information system.
The Role:
- Providing administrative support to the school office
- Using SIMS for pupil data, attendance, admissions, and general administration
- Managing telephone and email enquiries
- Welcoming visitors and maintaining a professional front-of-house service
- Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day administrative tasks
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working in a school administration role
- Strong working knowledge of SIMS (essential)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional, friendly, and approachable manner
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
