CERT Solutions are working with a specialist SEN school in Selly Oak that is looking to appoint a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher from September until Decmeber 2026.
The successful applicant will be responsible for full planning, preparation and assessment, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties (SLCN). This role requires a nurturing and adaptable teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with complex learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to provide a structured, inclusive and supportive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of each pupil.
The Role:
- Full time SEN Teacher position
- Full planning and assessment responsibilities
- Teaching pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties (SLCN)
- Delivering creative and differentiated lessons
- Working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
- Creating a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience working within SEN settings
- Be confident planning and assessing pupils working at different levels
- Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Be patient, resilient and passionate about SEN education
