CERT Solutions are looking for Cover Supervisors! We have a variety of daily cover, short term, part time or long term, full time work.
What is a Cover supervisor? Cover Supervisors are staff who have a degree qualification (or higher) that are looking to get in to teaching. You will be required to cover lessons that have been set by the class teacher, ensuring students crack on with the work, supporting them when needed and controlling the class. Strong classroom management is essential. You may cover different subjects throughout the day depending on the school requirements.
Additional information: Cert Solutions work with a lot of secondary schools across the West Midlands area and can offer daily cover or long term full time work. Daily cover may be ideal for people who are in education looking for part time work, or people who have family commitments looking for part time work. The hours are generally 8:30 to 3:30, however this may vary depending on the school. Full time and long term roles are also available for staff who would prefer a fixed role for more stability.

The successful Cover Supervisor will essentially have:
- Degree or Higher
- A desire to work within education
- Strong classroom management
- Clear DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will be:
- To teach students to a high standard
- To support the other members of staff at the school
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
