We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Interventions Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Tipton on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to work closely with pupils across the primary age range, delivering targeted interventions that help children reach their full potential.
The school is looking for an individual who is committed to raising attainment, supporting pupils with additional learning needs, and helping children develop confidence in their learning. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers as well as strong Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their skills in a supportive school environment.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality intervention sessions to small groups and individual pupils.
- Support children who require additional assistance in literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas.
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting interventions where necessary.
- Work closely with class teachers, SEND staff, and senior leaders to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and confidence in learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote a positive learning environment.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has a passion for supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning.
- Demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills.
- Can effectively engage and motivate children of varying abilities.
- Is committed to achieving positive outcomes for all pupils.
- Works well as part of a collaborative team.
Strong ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported in developing their teaching practice within the school.
