CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based in Coventry who are looking for an English teacher 5 days per week, 8:10 – 16:00. The role will be the full teacher role, marking and planning. You must have QTS or QTLS and be experienced in the delivery of English language and literature.
Start Date: 23rd of February 2026
End date: July 2026
Interviews will take place ASAP however, the head teacher has stated they will wait for the ideal candidate!
The desired teacher will have strong values and a dedication to safeguarding to all students. This role would be suitable for ECT’s as well as experienced teachers.
The successful teacher will essentially have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of teaching English up to KS4
- Have a real passion for your subject that you can instil into your pupils
- ECT’s are welcome to apply
- Clear DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will be:
- To teach students to a high standard
- To support the other members of staff at the school
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Assessing, marking, and planning lesson for the students
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
