Description
We are recruiting for a specialist school in Handsworth that supports pupils aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex needs.
The successful teacher will deliver engaging and highly differentiated lessons whilst working closely with therapists and support staff to provide the best outcomes for pupils. The role will involve planning, assessment and monitoring progress against EHCP targets.
£170 – £210 per day | Full-Time | September Start
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within a special school or similar setting.
- Knowledge of PMLD, ASC and sensory approaches to learning.
- Ability to plan, assess and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
