CERT Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a dedicated Resource Base at a welcoming mainstream primary school in Aston.

This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP, ideal for a passionate and committed TA with strong experience supporting children with additional needs in a specialist setting.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils within the school’s SEN Resource Base
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
  • Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, communication needs, and learning difficulties
  • Helping to create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within an SEN Resource Base is essential
  • Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
