CERT Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a dedicated Resource Base at a welcoming mainstream primary school in Aston.
This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP, ideal for a passionate and committed TA with strong experience supporting children with additional needs in a specialist setting.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils within the school’s SEN Resource Base
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, communication needs, and learning difficulties
- Helping to create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within an SEN Resource Base is essential
- Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
