Are you a passionate and qualified Level 3 Childcare Practitioner looking to make a real difference in early years education? CERT Solutions are working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery school in Selly Oak who are seeking enthusiastic practitioners to join their team.
We have full-time opportunities available starting after May half term, as well as additional roles beginning in September.
Position Details
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full-time, term-time (depending on role)
Start Dates: After May half term and September 2026
About the Role:
You will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–5. Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and early years education in line with the EYFS framework
- Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support children’s individual learning and development needs
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are consistently met
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
