CERT Solutions are proud to be supporting a friendly and highly regarded primary school in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham in their search for a skilled Year 3 Teacher to join them on a long-term supply basis.
This opportunity is suited to a confident and enthusiastic teacher who is happy to take on full classroom responsibility and play an active role within the wider school community.
The position is expected to continue through to the end of the 2026 academic year, with the possibility of extending into the following academic year from September.
About the Role:
- Taking full responsibility for a Year 3 class on a full-time basis
- Planning, preparing, and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Assessing pupils’ work and using data to support progress and attainment
- Contributing to staff meetings, parents’ consultations, and school activities
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience within Key Stage 2, ideally in a Year 3 setting
- Is confident in managing behaviour effectively
- Can take ownership of planning, marking, and assessment
- Is committed to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
- Brings a flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to their work
