CERT Solutions are currently recruiting for a PPA Cover Teacher to work across primary schools throughout Oldbury and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and is confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will provide planned cover for teachers across a range of primary schools in Sandwell. You may teach different year groups throughout the week, making this a great opportunity for a PPA Cover Teacher who enjoys working with pupils from Early Years through to Year 6.
The PPA Cover Teacher will deliver lessons using existing school planning and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day. Experience across different primary year groups would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Provide PPA and general classroom cover
- Follow school planning and curriculum requirements
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
- Support pupils with their learning and development
- Adapt teaching approaches for different year groups
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a primary school
- Confidence teaching across different primary year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
