CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based near Stourbridge who are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher.
The desired teacher will be required to work full time, 8:20 to 3:45 Monday to Friday. Teaching KS3 & KS4 as well as marking and planning. The successful candidate must have QTS, PGCE or QTLS as well as experience teaching Geography up to GCSE level.
The school is a fantastic secondary with welcoming and supportive departments. They have a large staff car park as well as great transport links.
Start Date: November 2025
End date: July 2026
Interviews will take place ASAP however, the head teacher has stated they will wait for the ideal candidate!
The desired teacher will have strong values and a dedication to safeguarding to all students. This role would be suitable for ECT’s as well as experienced teachers.
The successful teacher will essentially have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of teaching Geography up to KS4
- Have a real passion for your subject that you can instil into your pupils
- NQT teachers are welcome to apply
- Clear DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will be:
- To teach students to a high standard
- To support the other members of staff at the school
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Assessing, marking, and planning lesson for the students
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
