CERT Solutions is proud to partner with an Outstanding secondary school based near Sutton Coldfield to recruit a dedicated Business Studies Teacher. This full-time position is available for an immediate start or from January.
This role involves teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, alongside providing a small amount of ICT cover on the weekly timetable. It is an exceptional opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain experience within a top-performing department and established teachers seeking a high-achieving environment.

• Start Date: ASAP or January
• Duration: Full-time
• Pay Scale: M1 – M6 (Paid via PAYE; UPS scale may be considered dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver with Impact: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5, maintaining high academic expectations.
• Flexible Coverage: Manage a light ICT timetable allocation, delivering clear, structured lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Foster a Positive Atmosphere: Cultivate an inclusive, professional classroom environment where students are motivated to excel.
• Active Assessment: Regularly assess pupil progress, provide actionable feedback, and track performance against target grades.
• Collaborate & Integrate: Work collaboratively with the department and wider faculty to uphold the school’s high educational standards.
Requirements
• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or a recognised secondary teaching qualification with a Business Studies specialization.
• Strong curriculum knowledge of KS4 and KS5 Business Studies (ability to support basic ICT lessons is beneficial).
• Proven teaching experience within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills.
