Description
CERT Solutions is seeking an experienced and dedicated PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teacher to join a specialist school on a full-time basis for one academic year, commencing in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator with experience supporting pupils with complex learning needs. The successful candidate will be required to attend a meeting and visit with the school prior to the placement commencing to ensure a positive match for both parties.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching pupils with PMLD and complex needs.
- Strong understanding of personalised learning approaches and EHCPs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Promote a safe and positive learning environment at all times.
