CERT Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated PPA PMLD Teacher to work on a full-time basis within a specialist school for one academic year, starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The role will involve delivering pre-planned lessons across the school to provide PPA cover, meaning no planning responsibilities are required.
Prior to the start of the placement, the successful candidate will be required to meet with the school to ensure a positive fit for both the school and the teacher.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have previous experience teaching pupils with PMLD and complex learning needs.
- Be confident delivering lessons across a range of age groups and abilities.
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality education and support.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across PMLD classes.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils’ educational, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders.
- Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback where required.
