CERT Solutions are working in partnership with a large secondary school based in Kidderminster who require a teacher of Drama from September.
About the role
The role is a temporary position as its covering an absent member of staff. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 and take on the full teacher role, marking, planning , attending meetings etc.

The school is a large secondary based in Kidderminster. They are rated Good by Ofsted and have great transport links as well as onsite parking.
Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 via PAYE depending on your current pay grade
What you will Do:
- Deliver with Impact: Lead engaging and innovative lessons, adapting quickly to diverse learning needs and ensuring students stay on track with their curriculum.
- Foster a Positive Atmosphere: Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, encouraged, and ready to learn.
- Active Assessment: Monitor student engagement and progress throughout the day, providing constructive feedback and ensuring all work is marked in line with school policy.
- Collaborate & Integrate: Work seamlessly with fellow educators and support staff, contributing to the school’s vibrant community and professional standards.
- Inspire & Guide: Act as a positive role model and mentor, nurturing students’ curiosity and encouraging a genuine love for learning
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on Drama (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in Drama and performing arts and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
