CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based in Wednesbury who need a teacher of Drama to join them from September.
About the role
The role is a full time position, likely to be perm for the right candidate. Long term supply or temp to perm is another option! The role will be to teach Drama to KS3 and KS4, Monday to Friday.

The school is a great secondary based near Wednesbury. They have a large onsite car park. The school are rates Good by Ofsted and have welcoming & supportive departments.
Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 via PAYE depending on your current pay grade
What you will Do:
- Deliver with Impact: Lead engaging and innovative lessons, adapting quickly to diverse learning needs and ensuring students stay on track with their curriculum.
- Foster a Positive Atmosphere: Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, encouraged, and ready to learn.
- Active Assessment: Monitor student engagement and progress throughout the day, providing constructive feedback and ensuring all work is marked in line with school policy.
- Collaborate & Integrate: Work seamlessly with fellow educators and support staff, contributing to the school’s vibrant community and professional standards.
- Inspire & Guide: Act as a positive role model and mentor, nurturing students’ curiosity and encouraging a genuine love for learning
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on Drama (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in performing arts and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
