CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based in Handsworth who are looking to appoint a school First Aid to cover their medical office. It is a fantastic opportunity that will be full time and ongoing for the rest of the academic year.
The successful candidate must have a valid certificate in Emergency First Aid In the workplace. This is essential, without it the school cannot legally employ you.
Start Date: ASAP (or after Easter)
End date: July 2026
Interviews will take place ASAP however, the head teacher has stated they will wait for the ideal candidate!
The desired candidate will have strong values and a dedication to safeguarding to all students.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Emergency First Aid in the Workplace – Certificate
- School experience
- Clear DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will be:
- Calling for an ambulance in an emergency
- Assisting pupils with injuries and illnesses.
- Administering medications to pupils.
- Contacting parents to inform them if a child becomes unwell or is injured in school.
- Dealing with medical emergencies.
