CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based near Stourbridge who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher. It is a fantastic secondary with welcoming and supportive departments. The successful teacher will work alongside a brilliant department head and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 and Ideally Biology up to KS5
The school has a large on site car park as well as great transport links via train and bus.
I can pay the chosen teacher to scale from M1 – M6 via PAYE
Start Date: May 2026
End date: December 2026
Interviews will take place ASAP however, the head teacher has stated they will wait for the ideal candidate!
The desired teacher will have strong values and a dedication to safeguarding to all students. This role would be suitable for ECT’s as well as experienced teachers.
The successful teacher will essentially have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or recognised teacher qualification (QTS, QTLS, PhD)
- Experience of teaching Science up to KS4 as well as Biology up to KS5
- Clear DBS on the update service
- Have a real passion for your subject that you can instil into your pupils
- ECT teachers are welcome to apply
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on Biology (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in Science and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
