Cert solutions are seeking passionate and driven Male SEN teaching assistants to start after Easter across a range of specialist schools in Birmingham. Supporting and guiding pupils with additional needs such as; ASD, PMLD, SLD, SLCN and others. You will be helping them to reach their full potential, and act as a strong role model and friend as they navigate through their day.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £100 – £110
Type: Temp with potential to go long term
Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
Your role and expectations:
- Use PECS appropriately to support limited speech.
- To be calm and engaged to assist the pupils to reach their full potential.
- Provide 1:1 support and small group support.
- Assist and support teachers with lesson delivery.
- Assist the teacher with classroom management using behaviour management strategies.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

- Relevant experience in SEN, care, mentoring, support work.

- Qualifications relevant to experience.
