CERT Solutions are working in partnership with a large secondary school in Solihull who require a full-time Drama Teacher to join their outstanding faculty.
About the role
The role is a temporary position covering an absent member of staff. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4. This may be the perfect opportunity for an ECT as well as well-established teacher. The start date is ASAP and will be for the remainder of this term.

The school is an outstanding secondary based in Solihull. They are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and have great transport links as well as onsite parking.
Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 (£162 – £251 per day PAYE) depending on your current pay grade
What you’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative KS3 Drama lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Supportive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive academically and personally.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to contribute to the school’s vibrant academic community.
- Be a mentor and guide for students, nurturing their curiosity and love for Drama.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on Drama (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in Drama and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
