Description
CERT Solutions are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join an alternative provision in Wolverhampton, working with pupils who may display challenging behaviour or require additional social, emotional, and behavioural support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.
- Support students in managing behaviour, developing self-regulation, and improving social skills.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting respect, resilience, and responsibility.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs or in an alternative provision/specialist setting.
- Excellent communication, behaviour management, and de-escalation skills.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
- Flexibility and commitment to working Wednesday–Friday each week.
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
