CERT Solutions are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join an alternative provision in Wolverhampton, working with pupils who may display challenging behaviour or require additional social, emotional, and behavioural support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.
  • Support students in managing behaviour, developing self-regulation, and improving social skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting respect, resilience, and responsibility.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs or in an alternative provision/specialist setting.
  • Excellent communication, behaviour management, and de-escalation skills.
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
  • Flexibility and commitment to working Wednesday–Friday each week.

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
