CERT Solutions are working with a small one form-entry primary school in Digbeth. The school is seeking a strong, experienced Year 6 teacher to provide full-time supply cover for two weeks immediately after the Easter break.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner with solid upper Key Stage 2 experience, particularly in Year 6, who can quickly build rapport, maintain high standards, and ensure continuity of learning during this crucial period of the academic year.
The Role
- Full class teaching responsibilities in Year 6
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and adapting where necessary
- Maintaining high expectations around behaviour and learning
- Supporting pupils in preparation for SATs
- Marking work in line with school policy
- Working collaboratively with the Year 6 team and senior leaders
Role Requirements
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in Year 6
- Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organisational skill
