Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Year 4 Class Teacher to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a full class teacher position, so the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of classroom teaching, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Marking and assessing pupils’ work
- Preparing resources and lessons
- Managing classroom behaviour and routines
- Tracking pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
- Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents/carers
- Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the class
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong knowledge and experience of teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4
- Be confident planning and delivering lessons independently
- Be organised, reliable and enthusiastic
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Be committed to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
- Be able to work full-time
- Be able to make a long-term commitment to the role
Please note: This is not a short-term or day-to-day supply position. We are looking for someone who can commit to the class long term and take full responsibility for planning, marking, preparation and teaching.
