  • Support pupils in developing emotional regulation, communication, and independent learning skills in a calm, structured environment.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, the hub lead, and external professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality support in line with individual support plans and EHCPs.

  • Support reintegration into mainstream lessons where appropriate, and adapt activities to ensure access and inclusion.

  • Maintain a positive, safe, and structured learning space using clear boundaries and supportive strategies.

  • Contribute to daily routines, sensory regulation activities, and consistent behaviour support practices.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience supporting children with complex SEN, particularly in specialist or nurture-based settings.

  • An understanding of trauma-informed practice, sensory needs, and emotional regulation strategies.

  • A calm, resilient, and compassionate approach to working with children who may display challenging behaviour.

  • Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.

  • A relevant qualification in education, SEN, or care (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or similar).

  • A team-player mindset with a willingness to learn and reflect.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children.

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
