We are looking for qualified teachers in and around Halesowen who are interested in covering on a day to day/ short term basis. This type of role is great for an individual who is experienced and qualified but no longer looking for the full class teacher role.

For this role, the ideal candidate must be confident covering across all year groups within the primary setting. The ideal candidate will need to be confident with supporting SEND pupils or have worked with SEND pupils previously.

You will have the freedom to be flexible and will be able to expand on your school experiences by teaching across different settings and schools.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Delivering small group or one to one catch up sessions
  • Supporting pupils according to their individual needs
  • Working with the class teacher to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant experience in an education setting
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Suitable for ECTโ€™s
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher

 

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
