Description
Cert Solutions are seeking a reliable, practical and caring Site assistant to join a friendly team at a specialist school in Erdington with potential of work being carried out until Easter. This is a hands on role supporting the safe, clean and well maintained running of the school grounds and environment.
Location: Erdington
Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Salary: £15.00 – £16.00ph
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out general repairs, maintenance and minor DIY jobs.
- Ensuring the school site is clean, safe and well presented.
- Moving furniture, equipment and resources as required.
- Supporting health and safety checks and site security.
- Responding to day to day site issues promptly and professionally.

- Has good practical and DIY skills.
- Is organised, dependable and proactive.
- Enjoys working in a school environment.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality.
- Is physically able to carry out moving and maintenance tasks.
