CERT Solutions are excited to be recruiting on behalf of one of our lovely clients in South Birmingham. We’re looking for a kind, patient and a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time, supporting pupils with SEMH across KS3 and KS4(Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs).

This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re passionate about helping young people succeed — even on the toughest of days.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Support pupils with SEMH needs to help them engage with learning
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that help students feel safe
  • Offer encouragement and consistency to help manage behaviour positively
  • Be part of a supportive, friendly team that works together to make a difference

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
  • A relevant childcare qualification
  • Strong, confident behaviour management skills
  • Someone who is patient, understanding and able to stay calm under pressure
