CERT Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic special school near the Aston area who are looking for a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time.
You’ll be working with a KS3 class supporting pupils with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviour. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and supporting them emotionally, socially, and academically in a safe, structured environment.

🕒 Type: Full-time | Monday to Friday | Long-term
In this role, you’ll:
- Support pupils with autism, complex needs and behavioural challenges
- Work closely with the class teacher and support staff team
- Use positive behaviour management strategies
- Help pupils access learning through patience, encouragement and consistency
- Create a calm, safe and engaging learning space
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous SEN experience is essential
- Experience working in a special school, residential, or care setting is ideal
- A patient, calm and positive approach to supporting students
- Resilience and confidence when managing challenging behaviour
- A team player who’s passionate about making a difference
