About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at. You will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to access the curriculum, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.

Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and personal care if required.

Encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation.

Support students during break times, trips, and other school activities as needed.

Maintain accurate records of progress and contribute to reviews.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children with special educational needs (in school or other settings).

A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A good standard of literacy and numeracy.

Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate or SEN training (desirable but not essential).

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
