CERT Solutions are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a special school in Dudley on a full-time basis, starting ASAP!
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in providing support to pupils, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your patience, empathy, and understanding will be key in creating a supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
What you’ll do:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with autism and complex needs.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Promote independence and confidence in pupils through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people with autism and complex needs (preferred but not essential).
- A compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for supporting SEN students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within the school community.
