We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time, term-time-only position, ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, both in and out of the classroom. You will collaborate alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to help plan, deliver, and adapt learning activities that meet individual pupil needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Support learning inside the classroom and through targeted interventions outside the classroom
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to plan and adapt lessons
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and planning

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an SEN setting is essential
  • A good understanding of a range of special educational needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication skills

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
