Description
We are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistant As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs. You will help deliver personalised learning strategies and ensure that pupils feel supported, included, and confident in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students with SEN in and outside the classroom

Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

Encourage and promote independence and confidence

Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to progress reviews

Assist with personal care or medical needs if required

Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD)

A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
-
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) – desirable but not essential
