We are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistant As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs. You will help deliver personalised learning strategies and ensure that pupils feel supported, included, and confident in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in and outside the classroom

  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

  • Encourage and promote independence and confidence

  • Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to progress reviews

  • Assist with personal care or medical needs if required

  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD)

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) – desirable but not essential

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
