Are you a teacher with a passion for working in SEN settings? A dynamic special school in Handsworth is looking for an SEN Teacher to join its dedicated staff team after the October half-term.
The school caters for children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), complex needs and associated challenging behaviours. You’ll be supported by a highly experienced team of teaching assistants who work closely with pupils every day, meaning you’ll never feel like you’re on your own.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching pupils with SLD, complex needs, or challenging behaviour
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and abilities
- Strong behaviour management and positive reinforcement strategies
- Commitment to working as part of a supportive SEN team
