We are delighted to be supporting , a specialist setting that caters for pupils aged 3 – 16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional complex needs. At the school, pupils learn in a nurturing and supportive setting designed to promote academic, social, and emotional development.

They are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team from October half term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with Autism and complex needs
  • Create a positive and structured learning environment that encourages independence and personal growth
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure holistic support
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies where necessary
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its supportive community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Previous experience teaching in a special school or SEN environment
  • Strong understanding of Autism and effective strategies to support communication, behaviour, and learning
  • Adaptable, creative and resilient approach to teaching
