Are you a passionate and energetic Teaching Assistant with experience in Early Years and Special Educational Needs? We are working in partnership with a vibrant special needs school in Handsworth that is looking for a dedicated EYFS SEN TA to join their team from September 2025.
This full-time role involves supporting young children with complex needs and Autism within a highly supportive EYFS setting. The children are very active, so the ideal candidate must be proactive, full of energy, and able to engage children through creative, sensory and play-based learning.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and complex needs
- A relevant qualification (minimum Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent)
- A positive, hands-on attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and therapists
- A calm, nurturing approach and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
