We are recruiting for a dedicated SEN Support Worker to join a welcoming and well-resourced special school in Erdington, committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Location: Erdington
Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
Requirements: Relevant Level 2 or 3 Qualification | Minimum 6 Months SEN Experience
Start Date: September Start
Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
The Role:
You’ll be working closely with teachers and therapists to support students across a range of needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech & Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). This is a full-time, long-term role, ideal for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and confident working with SEN.
You must have:
- A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Health & Social Care)
- At least 6 months’ experience supporting children or young adults with SEN
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service
