CERT Solutions is recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEN Support Worker to join a special school in Moseley. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils with complex needs, including autism, sensory impairments, communication difficulties, and physical disabilities.
The school prides itself on providing a nurturing environment where every child is supported to thrive both academically and personally. As a support worker, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider team to deliver tailored support, care, and encouragement to pupils across various key stages.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification (e.g. Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, or Health and Social Care)
- Have previous experience working with children with additional or complex needs
- Be confident supporting pupils with personal care, mobility, and communication
- Be patient, flexible, and able to adapt to changing needs
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
