Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and available on a full time basis?

We are working with a fantastic primary school in this area that are committed to providing exceptional support and education to children with SEN. The Headteacher is looking for someone available on a full time and long term basis that can commit to this role and provide dedicated and efficient support to pupils across KS2.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
  • Assist with classroom activities, including lesson preparation, organising materials, and student supervision.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN preferred but not required.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
