Description
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and adaptable SEN PPA Cover Teacher to join a welcoming and well-respected special school based in Lozells, Birmingham. This is a full-time, ongoing role, starting as soon as possible.
This vibrant and inclusive school supports pupils aged EYFS through to Post-16, all of whom have a wide range of additional needs including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties,, and challenging behaviours. As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be required to deliver engaging, tailored lessons across multiple classes and age groups, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences and planning periods.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have proven experience working in SEN or specialist settings
- Be confident in supporting students with a variety of needs including ASC, SLD, and behavioural challenges
- Be flexible, proactive, and resilient, with a passion for inclusive education
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be comfortable covering a range of subjects across EYFS to Post-16
