We are looking for a qualified and experienced SEN Tutor to support a Year 5 pupil with complex needs on a 1:1 basis in a home setting. This is a part-time role, required for two mornings a week (Wednesday and Friday), starting from September and running until the October half term.

Location: B74 (Sutton Coldfield)
2 Mornings a Week – Wednesdays & Fridays
September Start – Until October Half Term
Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

About the role:

  • Provide structured, engaging learning sessions tailored to the pupil’s individual needs
  • Focus on building confidence, routine, and emotional regulation alongside academic progress
  • Work in close partnership with parents and external professionals where needed
  • Sessions to take place in the pupil’s home (B74 area)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
  • Experience supporting pupils with complex needs, ideally in a 1:1 or specialist setting
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Ability to plan creative and accessible learning activities
  • Own transport and ability to travel to B74
