Are you a dedicated and experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?

CERT Solutions are currently working with a special school in Oldbury that are looking for a friendly and experienced HLTA to join their team ASAP on a part time basis.

The Headteacher is looking for someone to work 3/4 days per week, long term basis and commit to this role and supporting pupils and the class teacher. The successful candidate will be required to work from 8:20am – 3:45pm and will need to be a caring and inclusive to all pupils with a good understanding of SEN and how to support each pupil according to their individual needs and abilities.

What we’re looking for:

  • HLTA qualification and relevant experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably within a special school setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions, with the ability to adapt teaching and support methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment.
