Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role with variety and flexibility?
We are currently recruiting for a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to support a range of special schools across the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across different settings while making a real impact on pupils with additional needs.
You will be working with students with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including PMLD, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Working across different special school settings
- Assisting with learning, communication, and emotional regulation
- Supporting pupils with complex needs and, where required, personal care
- Adapting to different classroom environments and student needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or adults with SEN
- A relevant qualification either in childcare or education
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- A calm, patient, and resilient nature
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
