Are you a teacher, with experience of supporting pupils with SEMH needs? Are you confident in working with children with ASD, ADHD, or other comorbid conditions? Have you ever had experience with Looked after Children, or those who can demonstrate challenging behaviours?

The Job:

Working in a small class of around Primary aged pupils, you will be delivering work to cover the whole curriculum. The children have a range of SEN and SEMH needs including ASD and MLD, across Primary year groups, mainly Key Stage 2. The school offers a nurturing and cheerful environment, promoting independence and interpersonal skills amongst its pupils, whilst delivering a highly individualised and specialised curriculum.

You’ll Be:

  • A Qualified Primary Teacher
  • Experience of young people with SEN, disabilities or additional needs
  • Experienced working with primary aged pupils across Key Stage One (KS1) and Key Stage Two (KS2)
  • Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
  • Promote happiness, self-reliance and encourage positive interactions

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
