We’re currently recruiting for a School Caretaker in Sandwell. They are looking for an experienced School Caretaker with experience.
This would be a split shift – Starting at 6/7am am to open the school and ending at 6pm to close the school. Hours to be discussed.
About the role:
As a School Caretaker, you’ll be an experienced facilities professional who supervises work across the school with both external and internal contractors. You will have keyholder responsibilities and will be expected to:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
About you
- Experience working within a school environment
- A valid DBS on the DBS update service
- Be available to interview and start immediately
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
