School Business Manager – Special School in Erdington
Location: Erdington
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed-Term until November (with strong potential to become permanent)

CERT Solutions are recruiting for a forward-thinking and supportive special school in Erdington, dedicated to providing exceptional education and care for their pupils. We seek a knowledgeable and proactive School Business Manager to join their team and play a key role in driving operational excellence across the school.

The Role
You will be responsible for leading on all aspects of the school’s business operations, including finance, HR, administration, premises, and compliance. Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you’ll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school and contribute to long-term strategic planning.

  • Previous experience as a School Business Manager, ideally within a special school or similar setting
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of school budget management
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
