Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for supporting the smooth running of a school? We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Primary School Administrator to join a friendly, thriving team at a school in Halesowen. If you have a strong background in school administration and are eager to take on a full office manager role, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication between staff, students, and parents.
- Handle school correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and general queries.
- Maintain school records, including attendance, student information, and staff documentation.
- Support the headteacher and senior leadership team with administrative tasks.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, events, and school activities.
- Oversee the school’s financial records and processes, including invoicing and ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding requirements, and health & safety protocols.
Essential Criteria:
- At least one year’s experience working in an administrative role within a school setting.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and school management systems (e.g. SIMS).
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- A commitment to providing high-quality support to students and staff.
