We are looking for a calm, caring and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team at a supportive resource base within a mainstream primary school in Aston, starting September 2025.

This is a full-time, long-term position, will provide tailored support to children with Autism and help them access learning in a structured and nurturing setting.

The Role:

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support to a child with Autism in the school’s dedicated resource base
  • Support emotional regulation, communication and personalised learning goals
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, class teacher and wider SEND team
  • Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies
  • Help create a calm, engaging and inclusive learning environment

About You:

  • Experience working with children with Autism or complex needs in an SEN school or resource base (essential)
  • Relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3)
  • Patient, understanding and able to adapt to individual learning styles
  • Able to work as part of a dedicated team and follow consistent routines
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
