CERT Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive special school near Erdington, Birmingham. We’re looking for a flexible and confident PPA Cover Teacher to support across the school on a 4-day per week basis from September.
This is a brilliant opportunity if you enjoy variety in your week and love working in SEN settings. You’ll be covering classes while teachers have their PPA time – so no planning is required, just your passion, presence, and care.
✨ In this role, you’ll:
- Cover lessons across both primary and secondary SEN classes
- Teach pupils with autism and complex needs
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned sessions in different classrooms
- Work closely with other staff to ensure smooth transitions and consistency for pupils
- Provide nurturing, structured support to pupils with a range of additional needs
✨What we’re looking for:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Previous experience in a special school is essential
- A flexible, proactive attitude and a love for SEN education
- Confidence working with pupils with autism and complex needs
- Comfortable teaching across both primary and secondary age ranges
